When Allan Richards, a journaiism professor at Florida International University realised the incidence of HIV/AIDS at his university was on the increase, he was shocked that this wasn't being reported by the US media. Knowing that South Africa has a high rate of HIV AIDS infection, he decided to take two students to see how its media were dealing with this issue.
