When Allan Richards, a journaiism professor at Florida International University realised the incidence of HIV/AIDS at his university was on the increase, he was shocked that this wasn't being reported by the US media. Knowing that South Africa has a high rate of HIV AIDS infection, he decided to take two students to see how its media were dealing with this issue.

This is the first 5 minutes of the 24-minute film which was broadcast on PBS in the US.

This is the first part of a 16 minute film made for IPACC (Indigenous People's Co-ordinating Committee) about how climate change is directly affecting people in remote drought-stricken parts of Kenya.
